Needs Assessment During this phase of consulting, we focus our efforts on determining the basic needs of your company. During a relatively short conference session, we will determine your current level of development. We will need to know your strengths and weaknesses, assets both real and intangible, related business experience, important relationships or alliances that might contribute to the plan, and more. We ask the basic questions such as: 'Is this a start-up venture, a young growing firm or an older established firm that is seeking to expand or reorganize? What are the desires of the principals? Do you wish to change ownership or control of the business?' Once we have a good understanding of the basic capabilities, experience, knowledge and resources of the principals, we can then begin to determine your needs with respect to training, financing, access to inside and outside skills and your understanding of how to effectively implement the talents of third parties, when appropriate. |
